Whitehaven Beach is known for its white sands. The Beach is a 7 km stretch along Whitsunday Island. The island is accessible by boat from the mainland tourist ports of Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour, as well as Hamilton Island. The Beach was named the top Eco Friendly Beach in the world by CNN.com. Whitehaven Beach is everything that you think it would be. White silica squeaky & fantastic to spend time just walking on. The wildlife was in abundance with lace monitors walking right under our table. If you get chance to visit Whitehaven just do it, you won’t regret it.

You could easily spend a whole day here just admiring the different views from the walk over the hill or wading in and out of the little inlets watching the baby sharks and stingrays

You need to take shelter as there is no shade on the beach but it is worth to plan ahead and be able to spend a day here

You can hire kayaks and canoes right near scamper at Shute harbour, they’re called salty dog sea kayaking. It took you an hour to row to the lookout. The lookout is definitely worth it!

Make sure you take plenty of sunscreen and bug repellent 🙂 there are all kinds of bitty bugs.

This is a definite place to visit when in the Whitsundays. The beach is absolutely beautiful. The scenery is magnificent. There cannot be many places in the world more attractive than this.

Great if you want to enjoy a quiet and fantastic beach with white sand, sun bake and relax! Not many people and very quiet place, this is the right place. Enjoy every bit of it. Every minute you spend it worth to right for better memory. And a place for unlimited clicks.
