Shannon, is named after a river passing by, a very beautiful and attractive place. In 1982 it has been given the status of town.The town is located just off the N19 road, a spur of the N18/M18 road between Limerick and Ennis. It is the location of Shannon Airport, an international airport serving the Limerick/Clare region in the west of Ireland.

It is a place best to spend sometime alone in peaceful environment, where no one can disturb you. A very quite place with slow going life, but the town has everything to offer. Very nice people and well located. Good food and good company at the 19th, weather…… no predication, because its Ireland… atmosphere can’t be judge properly. Its Golf Club being mentioned in the list of top courses in Ireland but it just may be about the best kept golf secret there is.
