Citroën has presented in Abu Dhabi his new car for the 2017 World Rally Championship, the Citroen C3 WRC. The Gala brand will set great goals in the medium term: to win rallies regularly in 2017 and then fight for the title in 2018. Kris Meeke and Stéphane Lefevbre will begin the march of this new championship era within a month in Monte Carlo.
Citroën has presented in Abu Dhabi his new weapon for the 2017 World Rally Championship, the Citroen C3 WRC. This is the model that the French manufacturer officially return to championship after a season in which the DS3 competed in various tests by a private team while Citroën focused on developing the new car.
The C3 WRC that has been presented is very similar prototype that showed us the gala brand in the past Paris Hall. In the images we can see a very aggressive frontal, in which predominates the black color and not the red as in the car seen in the French salon. The sides have also been modified and, at the rear, the re – confirmed sponsorship include Abu Dhabi .
Citroën has completed the C3 WRC around 10,000 kilometers of testing on tarmac, gravel and snow, and the aim of the manufacturer is none other than the WRC back stronger than ever. Following the departure of Volkswagen, they and Hyundai should be the strongest, with the unknown performance of the M-Sport Ford Fiesta and Sébastien Ogier, and the Toyota.
