The Bohol Island

With a land area of 4117.3 square kilometers, Bohol is the tenth largest island of the Philippines, and lies in the middle of the Visayas. Bohol is surrounded by other islands on all sides, and is thus shielded from the typhoons that often occur in the region, as well as from the heaviest rains.

Bohol is separated from Mindanao by the Bohol sea in the South and the island of Leyte by the Canigao Channel in the East. The Comotes sea in the North separates Bohol from the Camotes Islands, and the Bohol Strait separates it from Cebu.

  • Lamanoc Island

The ride over to the island has some spectacular views and the cliffs are breathtaking! Upon arrival you’ll walk through a bit of water to reach the shore. A tour guide will meet you and walk you around the island on a tour that takes about 45 minutes and shows you 4 or 5 caves.

  • Sandugo Street Dancing

It is a kind of traditional dance, girls dressed same kind of cloths, hold same kind of things, and they dances, it creates a beautiful attraction to their views.


  • Pahangog twin Falls

Pahangog-Twin Falls is about 30m high. Surrounded by cliffs boasting a lush forest of tropical trees and dense forest. A real treat for everyone that wants to see a great waterfall.


  • Virgin island

In reality this is just a long narrow sandbar in the middle of no where. But it is worth going to. Pure white sand surrounded by warm clear water. Just be patient with the normal vendors selling cheap pearls.


  • Chocolate Hills

Chocolate Hills is probably the most famous tourist spot in Bohol. It is a man-made attraction that looks like a giant mole hills. It is very unique and interesting because the hills turns into two colors: green and brown.
