Children freelance illustrator Lisbeth tone scatter Circuits Lego, hysterics and wreaked havoc, but she was not discouraged, turning their parental problems in art.
The tone comes from the Netherlands, but now lives in Los Angeles. She shares her work on Betje.com site (Bitzhi – Danish Lisbeth). Many of her illustrations depict the most that neither is a real experience of life mother of three children.
Children Tone nine, six and a half years – the heroes of many of its comics. And they are the same of her big fans.
“They like to see them, but I doubt that they understand what it meant,” – says Ton. – “Because of my work show than they are busy all the time – something that will seem nonsense to them when they become adults (like a fight over who first presses the button).
Stories of other parents about the antics of his children also served as material for illustrations tone. She said that the idea to add a little humor in the sometimes painful process of education, which consists of ups and downs, helped her to “see everything in its true light.”
“Someone once said that I should not be whining about their parental responsibilities – as if to raise children so hard!” – She commented. “But I never thought about it in a negative way, I just make fun of it.”
Ton also like to discuss their work on Facebook and Instagram. Seeing as mom and dad belong to her comic book, she realized that all parents alike.
“We all have some problems,” – she said.
